1. Service

Blorp (blorp.space and the Blorp app on Google Play) is a free engineering calculation and learning tool offered by TOLYA. No account is needed to use it.

2. Intellectual property

Blorp's software, source and compiled code, calculation models, drawings, 3D graphics, texts, name and logo belong to TOLYA; all rights reserved. Blorp's calculation engine (blorp-engine) is open source under the GNU AGPL v3.0 licence and may be used under the terms of that licence. Apart from this, copying the code or content of the site or the app, publishing it at another address or in another app, selling it, distributing it in modified form or using it in your own product is forbidden without written permission. The open-source components and data sources used are subject to their own licences (the “Open-source licences” page in the app).

3. Permitted use

You may use the tools free of charge for personal, educational and professional purposes, and share results, screenshots and PDF reports with attribution (“Blorp, blorp.space”).

4. Limitation of liability

The models in Blorp are simplified for learning and preliminary estimates. Before results are used in a design, manufacturing or safety decision, they must be verified against the relevant standard by a competent engineer. Blorp is provided “as is”; no warranty is given for the accuracy of the results or their fitness for a particular purpose, and, to the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for damage arising from its use.

5. Changes

These terms may be updated; the current text is always on this page.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
